Back Pain

One of the most common reasons to visit a chiropractor is due to back pain.

Our spines are an integral part of our ability to move, so if you’re unable to walk, sit or stand, or move from one position to another without pain, there’s a big chance that your quality of your life is being significantly affected.

It’s estimated that 9 out of 10 people are affected by back pain at some stage of their life (1), and this can be largely attributed to the decline of our postural health in the Digital Age as a result of increased personal device use (mobile phones, tablets, personal computers). And unfortunately, our kids are not immune to this problem.

Sporting injuries and trauma (accidents) commonly cause chronic back pain, but it’s important to understand that emotional stress can also impact your spinal health.

Can Chiropractic Help?

If you are experiencing lower back pain, you may develop other physical symptoms like sciatica, leg or pelvic pain, and this can make day-to-day living difficult.

Our chiropractors aim to understand the cause of your back pain, and may be able to help by using a range of specialised techniques.

As part of your first visit to our office, our chiropractor will take your full medical history and carry out a thorough physical examination to determine if they are able to help you. In some cases, they will recommend that you have x-rays taken to assist their findings and recommendations.

For further information or to book a comprehensive Initial Consultation with our experienced practitioners, please call (07) 3356 9552 or book online anytime
